LIFE

Planning our adventure in more detail. It is just under seven weeks until we go on our European vacation and I cannot wait. I have been researching organic cafes in Paris, concerts in Switzerland and yoga classes in Amsterdam, creating an exciting Word document of things to do and see. I also bought T a ticket to see Jay-Z and Kanye West in Paris for an early birthday present which he’s pretty thrilled about. :)
Rediscovering my wardrobe. I am so glad I set the reinvention challenge this week because it has forced me to take a few pieces out of my wardrobe and play around with them. Rediscovering old items is certainly much cheaper than adding to what I have (but just as fun actually).
Not getting too caught up in my to do list. I have discovered this week that I am actually more productive when I don’t stress over my extra-long and horrifying to do list. If I treat everything as “I could do this” I am more motivated than “you must do this”. Reverse psychology tricks for a stubborn Sagittarius?
Other: date nights with the boyf, Amazon book orders, delicious vegetarian cooking experiments, new nail colours, cute pictures of pug dogs, coffee catch ups with good friends, blogging over a little wine, inspiring chats, funky new albums from iTunes, wrapping up projects to start creating and working on others, getting regular exercise, chocolate breaks, laughs with T’s family and staying in the warm comfort of bed for a bit longer than I should.

What’s on your love list this week?

Love your ‘lovings’! I need to go to every link on that ‘productivity’ list. For both my business dreams!
As for what I am loving, I am totally into paleo cooking, breton stripes, taking time to pamper and diptyque candles.
Thanks Hannah, lovely to have you on board! I am a little addicted to productivity articles at the moment, so I hope they’re helpful for you.
Breton stripes are gorgeous aren’t they? I haven’t heard of Diptyque Candles before – going to research them now! x
Great list! I also loved Sarah’s two commitment weekend post, and that belt is fantastic – almost corset-like but in a good way. I’m loving all this autumn sunshine, yummy french onion soup, made by moi, and the fact that I’m graduating tomorrow.
Thanks lovely! The belt is definitely corset-like, almost like a cage but in an awesome designy way. ;)
Mmm french onion soup sounds pretty amazing right now and CONGRATS on graduating, that’s huge! xx
